The cost of living in Sydney/Melbourne is ridiculously high compared to most American cities where dental schools are located. Honestly, does anyone know why the mutual agreement with Australia exists? It`s literally on the other side of the globe. How many graduates of Canadian schools are starting to think, even from afar, about going to Australia to train? (rhetorical question) It is not a mutual agreement if it goes in one direction. The same applies in the event that a school loses its accreditation in Canada – all students in the program are still allowed to obtain a license, but the school can no longer accept students (modification for the transfer of the agreement, etc.) CDA is the organisation responsible for assessing internationally trained dentists so that they can register in Australia.. . . .
