This Material Transfer Agreement (this “Agreement”) is fixed on the date of ___201_; (“Effective Date”), from and between Hiroshima University, a national university society duly organized in accordance with Japanese law and which has its principal address in 1-3-2 Kagamiyama, Higashi-Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Pref., 739-8511, Japan (“University”), on the one hand, and a company that, according to the laws of the primary address (“recipient”) anises and exists, while M.____________ (the “receiving researcher”) on the other hand. However, for all situations, the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health requires that ATMs be used for transfers to industry and strongly recommends that MTAs be used in other cases as well. Using a material transfer agreement from it offers the opportunity to consider issues such as the recipient`s control of the subsequent distribution of your material, and whether a company should authorize your material instead of obtaining it for free. MTAs for transfer to university laboratories can be easily set with the single letter agreement or UBMTA. Therefore, investigators should consider alternatives to obtaining materials as part of an MTA in the event of problematic conditions. In general, if the hardware can be purchased commercially for less than $5,000, it will be difficult to justify an intense effort to set up an MTA. To address these considerations, AUTM has developed ATMs to address certain materials. These AAs should be used for the specific equipment identified when additional protective measures are required.
